Epub Translator ("we," "our," or "the Service") is an AI-powered e-book translation tool. We help users translate foreign language content they legally own or have rights to use, for personal learning, research, and reading.

Technology Tool Provider: We are a technology tool provider, not a content producer. We provide automated translation software—similar to translation apps or tools—and do not create, edit, or produce content. We make no warranty regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of translation results.

Copyright of Output: Translation results are generated by you using our tool. Copyright and responsibility for those results belong entirely to you. We do not own, claim, or participate in any copyright of your translation output.

2. Translation Quality Disclaimer

Our service uses AI for automatic translation. Results may be:

  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or contain errors

You should back up important files; we are not liable for data loss due to technical failures, network issues, or force majeure.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR where it applies.

5. Service Availability

The service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or technical reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or fault-free service and are not liable for losses caused by outages.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meside AI and its operators are not liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from using or being unable to use the service
  • Losses caused by translation errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
  • Losses caused by service interruptions, delays, or failures
  • Losses caused by your violation of this disclaimer or any applicable law
  • Losses caused by third-party actions, cyber attacks, or other security threats

7. User Responsibilities

When using this service, you agree to:

10. Copyright Complaints (Notice and Takedown)

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, contact us at support@meside.com and provide:

  • Your identity and contact information
  • Description and proof of the copyrighted work
  • Location and description of the infringing content
  • A statement that you own (or represent the owner of) the copyright
  • A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized

We will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law (including DMCA-style procedures where relevant) and may remove infringing content, suspend accounts, or take other appropriate action. We do not pre-screen user uploads.

False or malicious complaints: Knowingly submitting false claims may result in legal liability. We reserve the right to pursue remedies for wrongful takedowns.

Response time: We aim to review valid complaints within 5 business days and complete processing within 15 business days where practicable.
